On Monday 28 August 2017, London’s Clapham Common will once again open its gates for the Madness curated House of Common Festival. As well as the ska legend headliners, the event will also see the likes of De La Soul, Soul II Soul, David Rodigan, Hackney Colliery Band, Dawn Penn, Craig Charles, and many more, descend on the capital’s green.

The event also recently announced the Minor Madness Kids Arena, presenting the Rave-A-Roo Garden Party. Designed for under 11s and their grownups, it’s a place where families can feel safe and special while enjoying everything the festival has to offer.

With House of Common going above and beyond for all ages, here are five reasons why it’s the perfect family day out.

MINOR MADNESS KIDS ARENA
The dedicated Kids Arena’s theme this year is Rave-A-Roo presents the Garden Party which includes fair ground rides, DJs and performers including Go! Go! Go! Electro, Jungle Jane, Jak Poore & DJ Cuddles.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL AGES
For the parents, we have legends such as Madness, Soul II Soul, and De La Soul performing whilst the young ones can enjoy the likes of Toddla T, Nadia Rose & General Levy.

FOODS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
The House of Common site will be filled full of food stalls offering street foods from all across the world including traditional British burgers, Asian dishes and Indian cuisine!
