Tom Clarke, vocalist of Coventry based indie-rockers The Enemy, has announced four final shows for the end of the year, continuing his celebration of 10 years since the release of We’ll Live And Die In These Towns.

The news comes as he completes sell-out solo shows across the UK, with him now ready to bring his acoustic sound to biggest audiences.

The Enemy UK - We'll Live And Die In These Towns

“Many of you know I’ve just been out on my own and played We’ll Live And Die In These Towns in its entirety, acoustically, to celebrate the album’s ten year anniversary,” he has announced.

“The tour was beyond anything I had expected, the shows were like no acoustic show I’ve ever seen, the fans, as always, melted my heart. Based on the success of these shows and some frankly amazing support from Academy Events who really deserve some praise for making this all possible, I’m able to announce a further four dates.

“The four shows are Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London, right down the spine of the UK. The recent shows sold out very quickly and the demand for more shows has been high, so I advise getting your tickets as soon as they go on sale.

“This time around I intend to play We’ll Live And Die In These Towns in its entirety again, as well as some other Enemy favourites from throughout the years. I’d really appreciate some feedback on Twitter from you guys about what Enemy tracks are your favourites. This time around I want to celebrate the whole decade, as well as the first album.
At the recent shows I floated the idea of me writing some new material. I’m excited to say that’s something I’m going to do. I fully intend to squeeze at least one new tune into the set on this handful of dates, so it’ll be a plentiful and varied set list!

“This whole thing started off as a stripped back ending, but it’s become an encouraging new beginning too.”

Here are those dates:

24 November – O2 ABC, Glasgow
25 November – O2 Ritz, Manchester
26 November – O2 Institute, Birmingham
1 December – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London

Tickets are on sale at 9:00 on Friday 5 August through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
