Everything you need to know about Boundary Brighton festival

Boundary Brighton, a brand new festival, comes to Stanmer Park for a day of the finest electronic beats in a magical setting this September.

What’s more, they’ve just announced their first wave of artists and the music institutions they will be partnering with, and we cannot wait to get down to Brighton to get a piece of the action!

Here’s the lowdown…

The stages

Boundary Brighton takes the best of Brighton’s creative energy, lust for life and generosity of spirit, and fuses it with some of the UK’s best electronic music institutions for a concoction of musical wonders in unique settings, that will with no doubt create some absolutely magical memories.

Partnering with Brighton’s Concorde 2 is the world’s biggest dance music and clubbing culture magazine, Mixmag; heralded for continuously being at the forefront of the fast moving dance world, you can count on Mixmag to bring plenty of hands-in-the-air moments as they build a stage with a beautiful façade and a personal feel not normally found on a main stage.

Elrow, meanwhile, partner with The Arch to bring a fiesta like no other! Having recently taken the UK by storm with their insanely infectious party spirit, you can expect Elrow to deliver outrageous performers, confetti filled air, crowd surfing chickens and just downright craziness, as they bring the true spirit of freedom and hedonism that is synonymous with dance music to the venue.

Two huge underground forces, London Warehouse Events (LWE) and Patterns, come together to form the third stage at Boundary Brighton. LWE, London’s biggest underground event organisers, have made a habit of unearthing one-of-a-kind locations in all corners of London, transforming them all into clubbing wonderlands for one day only. Patterns have also brought some of the biggest names making waves on the underground circuit, ready to deliver lengthy sets in an intimate setting. You can count on both to bring an infusion of techno and house to an immersive venue.

And last but not least, our very own Victorian bandstand. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the rest of the festival, this little gem will be punching above its weight, bringing a really different flavour to the festival, with a fun line-up that will keep you smiling and dancing all day.

The Music

The first wave acts for this brand new festival are here! International DJs and live acts will bring together house, dub, bashment, techno, drum’n’bass, breaks, electronica and even a little crazy jazz.

Ibiza favourite, nude enthusiast, and all-round techno and house hero Seth Troxler heads up the Boundary Brighton bill. DJing in Detroit from the tender age of 16 and then across the globe, you can expect house, techno and rave culture in its truest form from this man.

Bringing some heavyweight drum ‘n’ bass is London DJ and producer Wilkinson, who will be playing a full DJ set. Having secured releases on some of the UK’s biggest drum and bass labels, including RAM Records and Hospitality Records, bass heads will not be at a loss here.

Also announced for Boundary Brighton are Joy Orbison, Bondax, Jungle (DJ set), Snakehips, Toddla T, Tom TRago, Congo Natty ft Congo Dubz, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Submotion Orchestra, Solardo, Mehtola, Bob Kerr & His Whoopee Band, Mr Bongo Soundsytem, Charles Green and Jem Stone’s Village Disco.
