Celebrating 21 years of releases, Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose have announced The Best of Feeder. It comes after a successful 2016 which saw them achieve their seventh Top 10 album, as well as playing a sold out tour across the UK.

“I remember sitting in a classroom at school aged 11 drawing pictures of flying V guitars and dreaming of being in a band, a band that could fill arenas and stadiums,” says Nicholas. “The dream came true and here I am 25 years later with Feeder and still riding the rock and roll train. It’s hard to believe that Swim, the first mini album, was released 21 years ago. It feels like yesterday.”

The brand new collection will be available digitally, as well as a deluxe four disc vinyl, deluxe 3CD collection or a standard double CD. The deluxe releases will be packaged with a brand new 9 track album, four of which will be included on the double CD.

It celebrates a career featuring huge hits such as Just The Way I’m Feeling, Buck Rogers, Feeling A Moment and Lost & Found. “After the success of All Bright Electric it felt like the perfect time to release a Best Of, to remind people of our story so far, and the music we have created over the years,” Grant says.

The announcement also comes alongside new track Figure You Out, or which Grant says: “We really wanted to include some new songs to this package to give the Best Of something new and fresh amongst the older tracks and to make it feel a bit more special for the fans. It also adds something different to the singles album that we released 11 years ago. The new recordings grew into a body of work which we have named ‘Arrow’ and includes 9 new songs.”

The Best Of Feeder will be available from the 29 September 2017 through BMG.

The band have confirmed that their previously announced homecoming show will see them play a Best Of setlist, including the band’s hit singles between 1996 and 2017. Check out a little of what to expect in the brand new tour teaser below:
