Five friendly folk you’ll probably meet at Bloodstock Festival 2015

Bloodstock Festival 2015 is just around the corner, and whether you’re a regular at Catton Park or 2015 marks your first year, we’ve rounded up five of the friendliest folk you’re likely to meet at the Derbyshire festival.

1. The loyal metalheads
There’s always a dedicated group of festival-goers that book their tickets before seeing the line-up, but at Bloodstock, that’s pretty much everyone. If you like metal festivals with a real sense of community, this is it.

2. The first timers
A three-day festival dedicated to nothing but heavy metal is enough to have even the biggest Opeth fan tightening their mosh helmets, but once first timers step foot on the grounds of Bloodstock, they’re instantly part of the family.

3. The families
Didn’t think a family of four could pit harder than you? Think again. Bloodstock is so family-friendly that you’ll be wondering why you didn’t attend 20-odd years sooner (probably because it wasn’t around then, but still).

4. The metal rangers
This lot know the lay of the land better than anyone. With four stages of fast action to take it, you’ll spot the metal know-it-alls ducking and diving between sets to ensure they don’t miss a thing.

5. The new blood stage
Want to see the best in new metal music? The Hobgoblin New Blood Stage has the bands Bloodstock-ers need to know about. You’ll spot a select few pitching up and sticking around for their fresh blood fix for the whole weekend.

Bloodstock Festival 2015 takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire between 6 – 9 August, book now at Ticketmaster.co.uk
