With their new album out today, Fleet Foxes share the news of two UK dates for late November. Their first headline shows in this country in six years will see them playing Manchester’s O2 Apollo and London’s O2 Acacemy Brixton.

Crack-Up comes six years after the 2011 release of Helplessness Blues and nearly a decade since the band’s 2008 self-titled debut. Fleet Foxes has released the album track Third of May / Ōdaigahara a nearly nine-minute epic powered by piano and electric 12-string guitar, string quartet, and the group’s trademark sparkling harmonies.

All 11 of the songs on the new album were written by Robin Pecknold and it was co-produced by Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset, his longtime bandmate, collaborator, and childhood friend.

The announcement comes just ahead of the band’s set at this year’s Latitude Festival on 16 July.

23 November – O2 Apollo, Manchester
25 November – O2 Academy Brixton, London
