Foo Fighters are set to headline the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony

Ellie Goulding, Kaiser Chiefs and James Blunt have also been lined up to to play the one-off five-hour concert, which takes place on 14 September in London.

The show is to mark the end of the Invictus Games, which were set up by Prince Harry, and will take place on the south lawn of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Speaking about the event, the Prince said: “I am hugely grateful to all the artists and organisers for coming together in September to put on what will be a truly awesome concert.

“It will be a celebration of everything the competitors will have achieved over the four days of the Invictus Games, not to mention the efforts of the hundreds of other athletes we couldn’t fit into the teams this year.”

The Invictus Games will feature four days of sporting competition, in which more than 400 injured, wounded or sick servicemen and women from 14 nations will compete.

Tickets for the closing ceremony go on sale at 9am Friday 1 August and will be available here.
