Celebrating the release of their forthcoming new album Synthesis, two-time Grammy Award winners Evanescence have announced a string of very special UK live dates.

Evanescence, fronted by the enigmatic Amy Lee, emerged onto the scene in 2003 with their landmark debut album Fallen, which celebrated 43 weeks on the Billboard Top 10. Selling more than 17 million copies, the album spawned hit singles Bring Me To Life, My Immortal, Going Under and Everybody’s Fool.

Reinventing their own blend of gothic inspired rock, Fallen remains one of only eight albums in the history of the Billboard chart to spend at least a year in the top 50.

Showcasing their live prowess, the band followed Fallen with a collection of live recordings, entitled Anywhere but Home. It preceded their second album proper, The Open Door, which went on to sell over five million copies.

Now in 2017, and following a further self-titled release, Evanescence are now preparing to release their latest studio album, Synthesis. Amy Lee is joined by bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn, and guitarist Jen Majura.

Synthesis will showcase two brand new songs, as well as seeing the band reimagine earlier music with a full live orchestra and electronica. Merging this with the artists unique rock style, fans will have the opportunity to catch Evanescence like never before when Amy Lee and co. arrive in the UK at the end of March 2018.

5 April 2018 – SEC Armadillo, Glasgow
