Here’s who just got added to Reading and Leeds

Reading and Leeds Festival take place from the 25 – 27 August 2017.

Liam Gallagher leads the latest list of bands joining the Reading and Leeds line-up. The iconic frontman will be taking to the Main Stage on Sunday 27 August at Reading and Friday 25 August at Leeds, making a UK festival exclusive appearance.

PVRIS graduate the Main Stage, having wowed fans with an appearance on The Pit in previous years. They are currently preparing the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, and follow-up to the stunning White Noise.

“We are incredibly grateful to be performing again at Reading & Leeds,” PVRIS’ Lynn Gunn says. “Our first experience at the festival was phenomenal and took us completely by surprise. We are excited to see what comes from it this time around and perhaps even play some new tunes *wink wink*.”

The Main Stage will now also welcome VANT, who move up from last year’s appearance on the Festival Republic Stage. Indie-pop due Honeyblood will open the stage on Saturday 26 at Reading and Sunday 27 at Leeds. LA blues-rock duo Deap Vally and London quartet Judas round off the additions on the biggest stage, headlined by Kasabian, Eminem and Muse.

Joining You Me At Six, Flume and Haim on the NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage are electronic trailblazer Mura Masa, serial collaborator Anne-Marie, and teenage sensation Declan McKenna. The stage will also welcome The Orwells, Marika Hackman, The Magic Gang, Blaenavon, Pond, King No-One, SG Lewis, Mutemath, and X Ambassadors.

“Reading & Leeds is definitely going to be a highlight of the year for me,” says Declan McKenna of the announcement. “Am so excited to finally be playing at a festival I love so much and have been to so many times.”
