Interview: We chat with The One Hundred’s Jacob Field

Unclassifiable genre-mashers The One Hundred released their debut album, Chaos + Bliss, earlier this year. Having steadily built a reputation for their unique sound, and their high-energy live performance, the record is a culmination of years of hard work. As vocalist Jacob Field tells us, it has also seen them support artists ranging from Chrissie Hynde to a arena tour with Mötley Crüe.

The band celerated the album’s release with an appearance on The Avalanche Stage at Download Festival, having wowed audiences with a prior headline tour, including a sold out show at London’s Boston Music Room.

They are now set to return to the road, with a headline show scheduled at London’s The Dome on the 13 October 2017.

We sat down with Jacob shortly before the release of Chaos + Bliss at the start of June to find out more about the record, life on the road, and playing Download Festival. Watch the interview below:
