K-pop superstar G-Dragon is coming to the UK

He'll be playing London and Birmingham shows.

G-DRAGON, leader of Korean band BIGBANG, is coming to the UK as part of his G-DRAGON 2017 Act III: M.O.T.T.E. World Tour .

His first ever European tour kicks off on 23 September 2017 in Birmingham, and also sees the superstar play a headline show at London’s SSE Arena, Wembley.

M.O.T.T.E. (母胎), the abbreviation for Moment Of Truth The End, will give insight into the truth hidden behind the glamorous life that G-DRAGON’s massive success has brought him by exploring Act III, the third phase of his career at 30 years old.

The K-Pop sensation has teamed up with creative director Willo Perron for the tour, who has worked with the lies of Rihanna, Kanye West, and Drake.

The world tour has already kicked off in Seoul’s World Cup Stadium, opening its doors to over 40000 fans. His setlist included massive huts such as Heartbreaker, Breathe, Michigo, and Crayon.

He’ll also be likely to play material from his most recent Kwon Ji Yong EP, which debuted at No.1 on eight major music charts, making him the Korean artist with the most No.1 hits on the iTunes Album Chart.

His European tour will also see him play headline shows in Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.

G-DRAGON is the leader and producer of Korea’s hottest group, BIGBANG. He’s produced some of the band’s biggest songs, as well as working on his own solo material. Songs such as Fantastic Baby and BANG BANG celebrate more than 2 billion views on YouTube.

He released his debut solo album Heartbreaker in August 2009, topping the charts in South Korea and breaking the record for the most copies sold for a male solo artist that year. He followed the album with 2012’s One of a Kind EP, and a 2013 World Tour. He teamed up with the likes of Missy Elliot, Diplo, Baauer, Boys Noize, and Sky Ferreira for his sophomore solo record, Coup D’Etat.

His career to date led him to being named the Most Influential Person Under 30 in Entertainment and Sports by Forbes Asia.
