Man Utd goalkeeper De Gea rocks out to Avenged Sevenfold

Monday night Avenged Sevenfold payed Manchester Arena and Manhester United goalie David De Gea met the boys at their show – and we’re kind of jealous.

Just last week, Californian metal band Avenged Sevenfold kicked off one of the biggest metal tours of 2017 with the support of Disturbed and In Flames. Maybe heavy metal and football wouldn’t be the first thing you’d put together but Man Utd goalkeeper David De Gea would like to differ. He went to see the five-piece at Manchester’s Arena and he got to meet them, too.

De Gea shared his head banging skills via Twitter on Monday night and we can totally relate!

And it seems like the band were just as excited to meet De Gea backstage, captioning their tweet with “It was a pleasure to meet on of the world’s greatest goalkeepers tonight in Manchester. Great guy, HAIL TO THE KING.”

Avenged Sevenfold play their final shows of the UK tour this weekend at The O2 in London and last remaining ticket are on sale via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
