The National are coming back to the UK in September

The National have announced UK dates for September 2017.

Alongside news that they’ll be releasing their seventh studio album, Sleep Well Beast, on the 8 September 2017, The National have confirmed UK dates in Edinburgh, Manchester and London. They’ll conclude their run with four consecutive nights at the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo.

Sleep Well Beast was produced by band member Aaron Dessner with co-production by Bryce Dessner and Matt Berninger, and recorded at Aaron Dessner’s Hudson Valley, New York studio, Long Pond.

To celebrate the announcement, the band have unveiled their new track, The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness.

They’ll be reaching the UK as part of their newly announced world tour, following their appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
