From 25 May until 3 June London’s Victoria Park will be the hub for a three-day music festival, a community-focused midweek entertainment programme and three huge headline shows. To kick things off with a bang, The National and The xx have just been confirmed as the first two headliners for next summer.

Kicking off on the May bank holiday, All Points East will feature a four-day midweek programme packed with comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more to reflect the vibrancy of its surrounding area. The first headliners for the inaugural festival weekend are London’s own The xx, who will take to the stage on Saturday 26 May with support from Jamie xx collaborator Popcaan and electro-pop queen Lykke Li.

The following weekend will see The National play their largest headline show to date as the first of the three standalone shows. On Saturday 2 June, special guests The War On Drugs will be joining The National and bring their critically acclaimed recent album A Deeper Understanding to Victoria Park and Seasons (Waiting On You)-hitmakers Future Islands plus Warpaint, The Districts and more to be announced will also be playing alongside the global megastars.

“After a thrilling four sold-out shows at the Eventim Apollo in September, we are excited to take over Victoria Park next summer. We are already thinking about ways to make this more than just a show,” said The National.
