Here are our highlights from today's album release schedule.

It’s our favourite time of the week – New Music Friday is the new release fix you need to get your weekend started. This week we’ll be listening to alt-J, All Time Low, Flogging Molly and more.

What’s even better about New Music Friday is that you can listen to a lot of the new music live. We’ve also found artists who’ve got new records out and are about to take them on tour. Double win!

Release of the week: alt-J – Relaxer
We kick off New Music Friday with indie rock band alt-J’s third studio album Relaxer. The follow-up to 2015’s This Is All Yours spans eight songs, including recently released singles 3WW and In Cold Blood. The trio from Leeds takes a leap into pop for their newest project but gives it a dash of sinister. This week the band have announced a string of seaside shows with tickets on sale now via Ticketmaster.co.uk. Grab the record here.

All Time Low – Last Young Renegade
Your favourite emo/pop-punk band from Baltimore have shared their newest record Last Young Renegade today. The record shows a new, almost grown-up side of the four boys. Lead single Dirty Laundry is surprisingly poppy with an intense build-up. It represents the new record well as the band explore a new sound. But still, All Time Low don’t lose their talent of writing catchy tunes and keep their anthemic sound their fans know and love. Grab tickets here, and buy the record here.
