Weekend city guide: 11 – 13 November  

Another cool autumn weekend in the UK and… as usual, there’s no shortage of great entertainment!

Are you a horse enthusiast? Check out a one-of-a-kind equestrian display in London. If sport is your thing, head to Edinburgh or Cardiff to watch some fierce rugby action. The Spanish Riding School of Vienna

We’re head over hooves in love with this famous (and world’s oldest!) equestrian academy which is celebrating its 450th anniversary this year. The majestic snowy white stallions and their riders will take your breath away. What’s more, all tickets are just £10 plus fees.

The award-winning comedian is bringing The Catherine Tate Show – Live to London. You’ll laugh the evening away while watching her bring Geordie Georgie, Irish nurse Bernie, Essex girl Sam and more of her best known characters to life on stage.

Catch the 2016 BRIT Award Breakthrough Act winners in the last of their three Manchester appearances. You’ll get to hear songs from their recently released second album, The Ride, as well as from their critically acclaimed debut, The Balcony. The indie foursome will also be at Glasgow’s SECC on 13 November.

After smashing it at T in the Park last summer and releasing their fifth album, Mapping the Rendezvous, last month, the Manchester-based trio opened their biggest UK tour to date yesterday in Stoke-on-Trent. Tonight they’re rolling into Southampton before moving on to London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday 12 November.

Warning: Things are going to get rough on the pitch! WRU face Rugby World cup semi-finalists Argentina in the second match of four autumn internationals being held in Wales. When these teams last met in November 2013, Wales crushed the Pumas by a score of 40-6.

Scotland faces Australia in the first of three autumn internationals on Saturday. Come cheer on the Scots as they try to avenge their quarter-final defeat during the 2015 Rugby World Cup to the Wallabies. The winner of this match will be awarded the Hopetoun Cup.
