Here are all the winners from last night’s BRIT Awards

The British music industry descended on London’s O2 for a night of glitz, glamour and falling houses.

The best of British once again assembled for a night of celebration at London’s vast O2 arena, to honour the movers and shakers of the last twelve months at the BRIT Awards.

The bittersweet event nodded to departed stars David Bowie and George Michael, with the former walking away with two awards including the high profile British male solo artist gong. It was a tearful homage to Michael, led by his former Wham collaborator Andrew Ridgeley, that ultimately added a poignancy to the otherwise upbeat tone.

Chris Martin of Coldplay led the musical tribute to George Michael, teaming up with the star’s voice from beyond the grave on a touching version of A Different Corner. Elsewhere, Bruno Mars brought the funk, and then some; recently confirmed Wireless Festival headliner and grime master Skepta celebrated the genre in style despite the BRITs failing to award any of his contemporaries; Robbie Williams showcased his musical relevancy by opting to perform three of his new tracks in favour of his greatest hits bangers; and Katy Perry found herself surrounded by dancing houses with one minor misstep.

Above all else, it was a night of winners and losers (not least Little Mix being absolutely baffled by their Best Single win). Check the full list of those awarded with the coveted BRIT below:
