Billy Ocean and Soul II Soul to headline Reload Festival

Reload Festival is the festival designed to celebrate the good times – and its back at Norfolk Showground this year with a brilliant line-up.

Reload’s organisers know that sometimes a good song just sticks with you forever, and so have designed a festival that embraces dancefloor fillers from every era of pop, disco, soul and much more.

Today they’ve announced none other than Grammy Award-winning RnB sensation Billy Ocean will be headlining the main stage. And he’ll be sharing duties alongside original Funki Dreds Soul II Soul.

As one of the UK’s biggest solo exports and with songs as huge as Caribbean Queen and When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going, Ocean’s fans are guaranteed a huge, hit-filled set.

Meanwhile, Soul II Soul will get the crowds moving with their huge transatlantic hits including the epic Back To Life.

The rest of the main stage line-up includes ‘90s boyband Blue, Level 42, members of the legendary The Beautiful South performing as The South, Jocelyn Brown, Brand New Heavies, Kenny Thomas, The Gibson Brothers, Odyssey and ‘70s legends Mungo Jerry.

But that’s not all! A second stage will play host to revered funk and soul DJ Craig Charles, plus BBC1Xtra main man Trevor Nelson and originator of the UK club scene Danny Rampling will also be on hand – as will Human Jukebox, Steve Friend, Pete Walkden, Harry Pearce and Jay Funk.
