Field Day 2014 line-up expands

SBTRKT, Blood Orange and Simian Mobile Disco have been added to the Field Day 2014 line-up.

They join previously announced headline acts Metronomy and The Pixies for the East London bash.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Radio 1, SBTRKT, said: “It’s going to be exciting. It’s the first time in over a year or more back in the UK.

“It’s going to be great to showcase music again in a live environment.”

Fat White Family, Ryan Hemsworth, Ghostpoet, East India Youth, Erol Alkan, Daniel Avery and Courtney Barnett have also been confirmed for the Saturday leg of the festival, while The Horrors, Temples and Pond are set to appear on the Sunday.

Now in its eight year, the festival has expanded to two days and takes place on 7-8 June in East London’s Victoria Park. Tickets are on sale now.
