Here’s who is playing Common People in Oxford and Southampton

Common People sees headliners Sean Paul and Pete Tong take to both cities over the May bank holiday weekend.

Running from the 27 – 28 May 2017 and organised by the team behind Bestival, Common People will be bringing some huge names to both Oxford and Southampton.

Sharing the line-up across both venues, the festival will see headline slots by Sean Paul and Pete Tong, the latter bringing The Heritage Orchestra along for his Ibiza Classics set.

“Common People is all about having some proper moments together as friends and family,” says curator Rob da Bank. “Common People 2017 is gonna kick off the festival seasonal with a proper party! Our cast this year to make you dance, sing and generally lose your shizzle include none other than recent Number One album artist, Mr Pete Tong, a legend of the dance and Radio 1 for over quarter of a century now, and here with a rare outdoor performance of his orchestral wonder Ibiza Dance Classics. Also, stepping up is Sean Paul, a dancehall god with more bangers up his sleeve than a fireworks factory.”

Elsewhere, the festival will welcome the likes of Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, Groove Armada, Wild Beasts, Becky Hill, and many more. The Uncontained Stage will be bringing some huge names in electronic music, including My Nu Leng & M8S, and Moxie Pres. On Loop.

Sean Paul will headline on the 27 May at South Park in Oxford, and 28 May at Southampton Common. Pete Tong will top the bill in Southampton on the 27 May and Oxford the following day.
