Reading and Leeds festival organiser Melvin Benn has revealed that he’s already secured ‘two out of three’ of next year’s headliners.
This year’s Reading and Leeds festival was headlined by Biffy Clyro, Green Day and Eminem.
Speaking to the NME, Melvin said: “We have headliners in mind and booked actually. Two of the three are done, the last one we are giving due consideration to.”
He then went on to reveal clues about the acts, adding: “Both of the headliners have played before. They are bands actually. They are American and English. They may even be bands with members from both sides of the pond in them.
“It’s great to be in that position in September. We’ll hope to have the third name booked by the end of October but we haven’t made an offer yet.”
Reading and Leeds festival 2014 takes place next summer on Friday 22 – Sunday 24 August.
