British fan favourite Tim Henman and former world No.1 player Juan Carlos Ferrero are the latest names to be confirmed for this year’s Champions Tennis, taking to the Royal Albert Hall from Thursday 30 November until Sunday 3 December 2017.

They join the already confirmed Pat Rafter, another former world No.1. “I always look forward to playing in London and there is no court quite like the Royal Albert Hall,” he announced. “Champions Tennis across the years has become a real highlight in the calendar for me and I’m excited to be back competing for another year.”

Although never making it to a Grand Slam final, Henman reached six semifinals and won 15 career ATP titles. A British tennis hero, he was the first male player to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals since the 1907s. Henman celebrated a position as the world No.4 between 2002 and 2004, as well as the British No.1 from 1999 until 2005, succeeded by Andy Murray.

Ferrero was the 21st player to hold the world No.1 title, following the top prize at the 2003 French Open. The Spanish player acquired the nickname The Mosquito due to his nimble form, before retiring from the professional sport in 2012.

Champions Tennis is now in its 21st year, running over the course of five days with a daytime and evening session on each. In the past, the event has welcomed the likes of John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Andy Roddick, Tim Henman, Pete Sampras, Stefan Edberg, Goran Ivanisevic, and Bjorn Borg, as well as special appearances by Andy Murray, Jamie Murray, Sir Elton John, Billie-Jean King, and Novak Djokovic.
