Special edition tickets honour ParaGB’s whopping achievement in Rio

The tally is in! British athletes smashed it at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, bringing home 147 medals – including a staggering 33 in track and field.

Everyone in the country is proud of ParaGB’s hard work and dedication. In celebration of their success, the organisers behind the World ParaAthletics Championships London 2017, being held next summer in London, have created two special edition tickets.

For a limited time, you can get children’s tickets for just £3 – thanks to triple-gold wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft. In honour of her three gold medals in the T34 100-metre, 400-metre and 800-metre distances, the “Hannah Cockroft ticket” is now available across all sessions of the World ParaAthletics Championships.

And that’s not all! The £9 “World Record” ticket has been created for adults to any session. It pays tribute to the nine new world records set by British athletes at the Rio 2016 Paralympics – including Cockroft’s T34 400-metre record of 58.78 seconds.

“There was some amazing sport in the Paralympics in Rio and we know that British spectators love and appreciate their Paralympic stars,” said Xavier Gonzalez, CEO of the International Paralympic Committee. “To be able to see them in action on a Hannah Cockroft or World Record ticket is inspiring.”

The World ParaAthletics Championships 2017 take place in London from 14 – 23 July 2017 at the former Olympic Stadium.

Show your pride and take advantage of a great offer by getting these special edition tickets now. They’re available until 30 September 2016 only here.
