Tickets for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships are now on sale. The new multi-sport event will see competitions in aquatics, cycling, gymnastics, rowing, triathlon and the newly added golf.
It marks the biggest sporting event in Scotland since Glasgow hosted the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
There are 84 different sessions for which fans can now buy tickets on a first-come-first-served basis.
Tickets go on sale as the event confirms Scottish swimmer Ross Murdoch as the official ambassador for the 2018 European Championships.
“It is an unbelievable place to perform in,” he said to the BBC. “That is what will make the Glasgow 2018 European Championships so special. The fans really get behind you and take you to the next level.”
Over 3000 athletes will compete across the six sports from the 2 – 12 August 2018, with co-host Berlin welcoming the European athletics from 7 – 12 August.
Sessions will take place across 12 venues including the SSE Hydro, Edinburgh’s Royal Commonwealth Pool, and Strathclyde Country Park.
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
