Watch our Minimasters meet stars of British Athletics

Ahead of an exciting summer for British Athletics, our Minimasters meet Andrew Pozzi, Laviai Nielson, and Asha Philip, plus much more in Birmingham.

Earlier this year, we took a team of Minimasters to the Müller Indoor Grand Prix Birmingham to experience all the action, and to chat to some of the stars of British Athletics.

As well as interviewing hurler Andrew Pozzi, and sprinters Laviai Nielson and Asha Philip, the team got to meet mascot Brit Bear and take part in some running of their own.

2017’s summer season gets underway with the British Athletics Team Trials, as the best of British come together to secure their place in the World Championships squad. The build up to this home world championships will take place at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham on 1 and 2 July.

London Anniversary Games returns on 9 July where global superstars will grace the track and field of London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth park.

The season finale will take place on 20 August where British Athletics return to Alexander Stadium for Grand Prix Birmingham, where athletes will be competing in the second home leg of the prestigious Diamond League.
