Heisenberg is coming to the West End

Tickets are on sale today.

Heisenberg will arrive in the West End at Wyndham’s Theatre on the 3 October 2017. Directed by Olivier and Tony Award-winning director Marianne Elliott (The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, War Horse), the production fill feature cast members Anne-Marie Duff and Kenneth Cranham.

Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle follows the meeting of two strangers in a busy London train station. The play is written by Simon Stephens, who among his many credits also adapted Curious Incident.

“I wanted to write about the most unpredictable and exciting woman I could imagine,” Stephens says. “I wanted to write a play about an older man because I’d never done that before.”

“I wanted to write a play inspired by the way music works in the gaps between notes. I discovered The Uncertainty Principle and it struck me that all life is contained within it.”

The production will run until 6 January 2018.

Tickets are available from 15:00 today (Friday 16 June 2017) through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
