Disney’s Aladdin is currently celebrating not only its first anniversary in the West End, but also the arrival of new leading man Matthew Croke. There’s some amazing new production shots (which you can peruse right here) to get a flavour of how London’s newest Prince Ali is fitting in. First Look: Everybody’s Talking About Jamie
Written by The Feeling’s frontman Dan Gillespie Sells, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is a brand new musical coming to the West End this November. The stunning music (Gillespie Sells’ concept album is already on Spotify for you to fall in love with) tells the story of Jamie New – struggling to overcome prejudice, beat his bullies and finally step out of the darkness and into the spotlight. Matilda the Musical welcomes new adult cast
As the Olivier-Award winning musical enters its seventh year in London, a whole host of new cast members are joining the show in leading adults roles. The additions to the cast include West End superstar and Ticketmaster favourite Gina Beck, who has previously played Glinda in Wicked and was last seen starring the Daniel Evans’ stunning production of Show Boat at the New London Theatre. Everyone’s raving about Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Sienna Miller and Jack O’Connell lead the cast in this incredible new production of the Tennessee Williams classic Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Full cast announced for Labour Of Love
With the previously announced Martin Freeman and Sarah Lancashire at the helm, James Graham’s latest play, Labour of Love, was always going to be in safe hands. Now the full cast has been confirmed, with the likes of Rachael Stirling, Kwong Loke, Dickon Tyrell and Susan Wokoma joining the production. Find out more here. [Tickets here]


Craig Revel Horwood confirmed for Annie
More cast announcements this week as it was unveiled that Strictly Come Dancing star Craig Revel Horwood will take over from comedy superstar Miranda Hart as Miss Hannigan from September. Excited? Review: Evita at London’s Phoenix Theatre

Wicked is now the 16th longest running London show
Smash hit musical Wicked is now the 16th longest-running show in West End history after it surpassed Billy Elliot’s run at the weekend. Wicked is double celebrating as it also welcomed a brand new cast last week, including Alice Fearn and Sophie Evans as witches Elphaba and Glinda respectively. Get more info here. [Tickets here]
