The Gruffalo returns to West End for Christmas at Vaudeville Theatre

The Gruffalo is returning to London’s Vaudeville Theatre this Christmas for a limited showing.

Families can catch Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s scary woodland resident in the West End between 15 December and 3 January, following its 10-week summer season.

Owen Guerin will return to play the lead role alongside Ellie Bell and Timothy Richey, both having performed with Guerin during the show’s recent run the Lyric Theatre. 17 different actors have portrayed the iconic character on stage since its 2001 premiere but we can’t wait for Guerin’s to reprise the role this Christmas.

The Gruffalo joins a string of family shows which will return to the West End this festive season, including The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Goodnight Mister Tom and Peppa Pig’s Surprise.
