Interview: Catherine Bohart on her debut Lemon tour

We spoke to the comedian about what fans can expect from her upcoming dates.

Irish comedian Catherine Bohart has announced details of her first ever tour.

Following a sell out run at Edinburgh Fringe, Bohart will bring her show, Lemon, to venues across the UK throughout February and March 2020.

Lemon is Catherine’s second show, following on from her critically acclaimed solo Fringe debut last year.

In the interview above, Catherine details what inspired her to write the show, why she’s looking forward to taking it on the road and what people coming to her gigs can expect.

One of comedy’s fastest rising stars, Catherine started performing stand-up in 2015. The year after she was a finalist in both the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and Funny Women.

In 2018, she took her debut solo show Immaculate to Fringe, with the autobiographical hour on her life as the bisexual OCD daughter of a Catholic deacon receiving rave reviews.

Enjoying a growing presence on TV screens, Catherine has appeared on shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Roast Battle, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier and The Mash Report.
