GRAMMY and Emmy Award winning comedian Chris Rock will be bringing The Total Blackout Tour to the UK in January 2018. Kicking off on Thursday 11 January 2018, the tour will visit eight cities, culminating with three headline London shows.

Having previously announced eight stand-up shows, including three in London, Chris has now added extra dates in Bournemouth and Cardiff.

The Brooklyn, New York raised comedian, renowned for his quick-fire and often outrageous joke delivery such as 1999’s Bigger and Blacker, will be performing at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on the 12 January, and Bournemouth’s International Centre on the 13 January.

With an award winning career spanning three decades, Chris Rock celebrates accolades in comedy, acting, directing, writing and producing. He is set to appear alongside Adam Sandler in production of Netflix’s original movie, The Week Of. He will also executive produce BET’s newest late-night talk show, The Rundown with Robin Thede.

13 January – Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth

It’s comedian Chris Rock’s first UK in 10 years, so these newly added dates are likely to sell very quickly. Here’s some helpful hints to improve your chances of getting hold of those all-important tickets.

Open your account and log in now.
Get the details out of the way before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later on. Head to Ticketmaster.co.uk and log in to your account to get started.

Don’t refresh your screen.
Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Check when tickets are available – even once they’re on sale.
Keep up-to-date with the latest ticket news on Twitter. If anything changes with these Chris Rock tickets – anything at all – our social followers will be the first to know about it.

We send real time updates as the general sale happens, including any (unlikely) technical difficulties that might occur and alerts on when new tickets become available. When we have popular shows come on sale, we try our very best behind the scenes to secure as many tickets for you as possible and here’s where you’ll know if we’ve been successful.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale at 10:00 on 6 October 2017 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
