Lee Nelson is known for sneaking into loads of places where he’s not wanted – but when it comes to performing comedy on stage, he’s definitely in huge demand.

Nelson’s latest live stand-up tour, Serious Joker, has been a smash hit throughout 2017. He’s even wowed the press! The Telegraph says “in this sort of form Nelson is irresistible” while The Sun calls him a “comedy legend”.

So, for the second and final time, Nelson has decided to stretch his run. He’s announced the addition of 30 new dates in May and June 2018.

Nelson is a character comedian. His real name is Simon Brodkin. He’s taken five hit solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he won the Writer’s Guild Award for Best Newcomer in 2006.

Along with the stand-up comedy circuit, Nelson’s got numerous TV credits including appearances on Absolutely Fabulous in 2003 and the prime time sketch show Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder in 2009. He also wrote and starred in his own shows for BBC called Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show in 2010 and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People in 2013.

But Nelson is best known for his epic and often controversial stunts which have included crashing everything from press conferences to ribbon-cutting ceremonies, Premier League matches and motor shows. Last October he infiltrated the Conservative Party conference where he made it to the front of the room and cheekily handed Theresa May a fake P45 during her keynote speech.

With a history of hijinks that includes pranking everyone from Sepp Blatter and Kanye West to Donald Trump, seeing Nelson perform live is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
