This will be the first time Noah – host of the Emmy Award-winning The Daily Show – has performed in the UK for two and half years and marks his first ever UK arena show.

About the special, one-off performance Noah said, “A lot has happened for me in the two years since I last performed in the UK, and by the looks of things quite a lot has been happening there too!

“Brexit has inspired everybody else to go and screw up their own countries, a baby interrupting a BBC News interview gave us the greatest moment in the history of television, ever, and Jeremy Corbyn played Glastonbury.

“I can’t wait to see what craziness goes down in the UK between now & May… I think we’ll have a few things to discuss! To be playing my first UK arena show at London’s famous O2 Arena is a real honour and I’m thrilled to be returning to the UK.”

Tickets for the new show go on general sale at 10:00 on Friday 3 November, but fans can get tickets early thanks to our presale, which opens at 10:00 on Thursday 2 November – a whole 24 hours early!

Having sold out stand-up shows across five continents, Noah’s appeal has sky-rocketed even further over the past two years, since he took over hosting duties from Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s news satire programme The Daily Show.

In September, Noah won his first Emmy for Best Short Form Variety Series for YouTube comedy special The Daily Show: Between the Scenes. Take a look at a clip from the Emmy-winning series below:

Earlier in 2017, Noah debuted his comedy special Afraid of the Dark on Netflix; his first book Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, was an instant New York Times bestseller when it was released last November.

Noah was also the subject of David Paul Meyer’s award-winning 2011 documentary film You Laugh But It’s True, which tells the story of his remarkable career in post-apartheid South Africa. Previous UK television appearances include Live at the Apollo, QI and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
