Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, collectively known as New Zealand comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, have added another London date to their UK tour having previously announced their rescheduled shows.

The duo were forced to postpone their originally announced March dates due to Bret’s hand injury. The tour, which continues in Dublin on the 15 June 2018, will now see them play four dates at the Hammersmith Apollo, London, plus three at the city’s O2. It is their first UK and Ireland tour in over seven years.

The extra date announcement comes as more tickets are released for the rescheduled dates.

A show filled with laughs, music and songs, Bret and Jemaine rose to fame with their distinctive and unique take on comedy in the early ’00s. The cult HBO TV show, Flight of the Conchords premiered in June 2007, propelling the pair towards household name status.

Both the TV series and subsequent specials have seen various nods by the Emmys and New Zealand Music Awards. In 2008 they won a GRAMMY Award for their album The Distant Future.

They have released two albums filled with original songs, including the likes of Inner City Pressure and The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room).
