Jerry Seinfeld has announced his first UK shows in eight years, coming to London’s Eventim Apollo for four shows across two nights. He’ll play an early and late evening show on both the 12 and 13 July 2019.

The renowned American comedian will play his first theatre sized show in the UK since performing at the London Palladium in 1998, famed for his ability to relate to his audience through seemingly little things.

As well as his stand-up comedy, he recent received an Emmy nomination for his web series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, and stars in the Netflix special Before Seinfeld.

Jerry Seinfeld is perhaps best known for his incredibly successful comedy series Seinfeld, created alongside fellow comedian Larry David. The series, which ran from 1989 until 1998, scooped numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards.

The show followed the life of a fictionalised version of Jerry himself.

More recently Jerry has turned his attention to Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, which celebrates over 100 million views. Reviews have labelled the show “a game changer” (Variety) and “impressively complex and artful” (New York Times).

His most recent activity has seen him perform at the Beacon Theatre on Broadway, New York, as part of a year long residency entitled Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand.

Seinfeld arrives in London for four shows across two nights, each evening seeing him take to the stage at 19:00 and 21:30.

Here are those dates in full:

12 July 2019 – Eventim Apollo, London (19:00 & 21:30 shows)
13 July 2019 – Eventim Apollo, London (19:00 & 21:30 shows)
