Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall returns for its 18th year, hosting a series of evenings of music and comedy.

The charity event’s organisers have now revealed comedy heavyweights Dara O’Briain, Sara Pascoe and Desiree Burch will perform alongisde the previously announced Greg Davies, Mo Gilligan and Paul Chowdhry. All join host Russell Howard for an evening of world-class live stand-up.

The evening of comedy hosted by Russell Howard will take place on Tuesday 20 March 2018, flanked by evenings welcoming headliners UB40 featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Roger Daltrey, Courteeners performing St Jude, Kasabian, and Def Leppard.

Since 2000, a variety of comedians have performed for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, raising over £27 million for young people with cancer. The funds raised have helped the charity provide 28 specialist cancer units and over 60 nursing staff in NHS hospitals across the UK.

Host Russell Howard is one of the UK’s most successful comedians. He last appeared at London’s Royal Albert Hall during his 2017 world tour, breaking the record for the most consecutive nights performed at the venue. He delivered ten shows in a row as part of the 81 date tour, which ran across 12 countries.

He currently hosts and writes The Russell Howard Hour on Sky One, having previously presented Russel Howard’s Good News on BBC Three.

The UK’s fastest rising social media star Mo Gilligan will take the stage, having created his own blend of online comedy sketches and sold out some huge stand-up shows.
