Stephen K Amos’ new tour will kick off in November and end with a run of shows at London’s Leicester Square Theatre in February 2019.

Stephen’s main aim with his new show, Bouquets and Brickbats, is to cheer us all up. As Brexit looms on, Trump reigns rampant and everyone seems pushed to the extreme, Bouquets and Brickbats tells audiences to forget everything that’s going wrong in the world and immerse themselves in the warmth of “one of the most likable figures in British Comedy” (Radio Times).

Take a look at Amos in action at the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala.

Amos’ hilarious wit and charm has led him to become a highly acclaimed comedian on the circuit having debuted in 2001 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – since then he has performed at the festival every year. In 2006, his set referenced his homosexuality for the the first time, and he as since spoken about gay rights openly and politically, having appeared as a panelist on shows like The Wright Stuff and The People’s History of LGBT.

His debut DVD, Find the Funny – recorded at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre – was released in November 2009. In 2010, Amos’ own show was launched on BBC2. It was a combination of stand-up, sketches and guest performances (largely by those who yet to fully break into television comedy) and was simply titled The Stephen K Amos Show. The show was late released on DVD that November along with his second stand-up DVD, The Feel-good Factor.

Stephen has also appeared as a guest on such high-profile comedy TV shows as QI, Live At The Apollo and Have I Got News For You. On radio he has appeared on the purportedly autobiographical radio comedy, What Does The K Stand For?, on BBC Radio 4, as a son living in a Nigerian family in 1980s Britain.
