23 more acts added to Isle of Wight Festival

Camila Cabello, Manic Street Preachers and more added to the bill.

23 more acts have been added to the Isle of Wight Festival line-up, including Camila Cabello, Manic Street Preachers and Chase & Status. The latest additions join headliners Depeche Mode, The Killers, Kasabian and Liam Gallagher from the 21 – 24 June 2018.

The festival will also welcome the previously announced The Script, Van Morrison, James Bay, and Blossoms.

This year sees the UK event celebrate it’s 50th anniversary, with all attendees invited to wear gold for a weekend of fun and celebration.

Pop sensation Camila Cabello’s leads today’s additions to Isle of Wight, having logged five weeks at the UK No.1 spot with her hit Havana. She released her debut solo album Camila/em> earlier this year, reaching No.1 on iTunes in 99 countries.

 

Manic Street Preachers arrive at Isle of Wight Festival following the forthcoming release of their 13th studio album, Resistance is Futile, due on the 13 April 2018.

Electronic trio Chase & Status remain one of the most successful British bands of the last decade, releasing their fourth studio album Tribe last year.

The additions feature a range of new and established talent, including return by the likes of Soul II Soul and Sheryl Crow.

Isle of Wight Festival runs from the 21 – 24 June 2018 at Seaclose Park, Newport. This year marks 50 years of the event which has in the past welcomed the likes of The Doors, The Who and Jimi Hendrix, who performed his final ever UK show at the festival.

More recently, the festival has welcomed Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac and many more.
