Adele tickets: Improve your chances of seeing her 2016 UK tour

PLEASE NOTE: This post is from 2015.

It’s official, 2016 will be the year of huge pop tours with Adele becoming the latest star to announce shows today.

The Hello singer revealed the news via a video on Twitter, telling fans, “I have been bluffing this whole time and I am so relieved to finally tell you that I am, of course, coming on tour and I can’t wait to see all of you there.”

Massive Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham dates are included in Adele’s European and UK tour. We will only be ticketing for Glasgow from 09:00 on Friday 4 December.

Update 2/12: We will only be ticketing for Glasgow dates via Ticketmaster.co.uk/Adele from 09:00 on Friday 4 December.

As ever, here are our top 5 tips to help improve your chances of getting tickets first…

1. Open your account and log in now

Get all the details out of the way before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later on. Head to Ticketmaster.co.uk and log in to your account to get started.

2. Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

3. Check when tickets are available

Keep up-to-date with news at Twitter.com/TicketmasterUK and Facebook.com/TicketmasterUK. If anything changes with Adele tickets, our social followers will be the first to know about it.

We send real time updates as the general sales happens, including any technical difficulties that might occur and alerts on when new tickets come available.

4. Head to Adele.com for the presale

According to the official release: “Advance tickets for all UK dates will be exclusively available to members of Adele.com in the UK and Europe from 9:00 GMT on Tuesday 1 December.”

5. Set an alarm reminder

Adele tickets go on general sale at 09:00 on Friday 4 December, head to Ticketmaster.co.uk/Adele.

The following dates will be available via Ticketmaster UK:

March 2016:

25 & 26 – Glasgow, The SSE Hydro

Update 2/12: We will only be ticketing for Adele at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow for 25 and 26 March 2016. Keep up to date via @TicketmasterUK.
