Mumford & Sons announced for All Points East
The band headline the festival on Saturday 1 June 2019.
All Points East have today confirmed their final headline act for 2019 will be Mumford & Sons.
The band will bring their Gentlemen of the Road event to Victoria Park on Saturday 1 June 2019.
Also appearing on the day will be Leon Bridges, Dizzee Rascal, The Vaccines, Sam Fender, Jade Bird, Dermot Kennedy and Dizzy.
One of the most successful British bands of the past decade, Mumford & Sons released their fourth record Delta in November 2018. The album, featuring the single Guiding Light charted at No.2 in the UK and the band followed up the release with a run of sold-out arena shows in the UK and US.
Some of the band’s biggest hits include Little Lion Man, I Will Wait, Believe and There Will Be Time.
Previous All Points East announcements have also confirmed headliners The Chemical Brothers for Friday 24 May, The Strokes on 25 May, Christine and the Queens for Sunday 26 May 2019, Bring Me The Horizon for 31 May and Bon Iver for Sunday 2 June 2019.
Last year’s All Point East series saw headline shows from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Catfish and the Bottlemen, plus supports on each date including the likes of Lorde and Friendly Fires.
