Brighton based rock and metal crossovers Architects will be playing a headline show at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, joined by While She Sleeps and Counterparts.

The show forms part of the band’s European tour, running through January and February 2018. They’ll reach Alexandra Palace on the 3 February 2018 to round off a string of nine dates, taking them through Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Belgium.

The band are currently celebrating last year’s release of album All Out Gods Have Abandoned Us, their seventh studio album and follow-up to 2014’s equally critically acclaimed Lost Forever // Lost Together.

Architects have seen their music style evolve over time, from the metal heavy debut Nightmares through to the more melodic recent albums, yet still filled with driving guitars and hardcore breakdowns. Tracks such as Gravedigger, Naysayer and A Match Made In Heaven have since become mainstays on alternative playlists.

The band formed in the middle of the last decade, now consisting of vocalist Sam Carter, drummer Dan Searle, bass guitarist Alex Dean and rhythm guitarist Adam Christianson. Last year, guitarist Tom Searle passed away following a short battle with cancer, leading the band to champion research and awareness of the disease.

Architects will also be appearing at Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend, bringing their music to the main stage. While She Sleeps, who will be joining the band at Alexandra Palace, will also be headlining The Pit over the festival.
