Barry Manilow announces 2020 UK tour

The icon will perform across seven arenas next year.

Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Barry Manilow has announced seven headline arena shows across the UK in May and June 2020.

The newly announced shows will see the Copacabana (At the Copa) singer take to Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, London, Leeds and Glasgow, and follow his sold out performance at the BBC Proms in the Park and a run on Broadway in New York City.

Since breaking through with the 1974 single Mandy, reaching the top of the stateside single’s chart, Barry Manilow has gone on to win Grammy, Tony and Emmy Awards, as well as boasting countless performing, composing, arranging and producing credits.

Barry Manilow has sold over 85million records throughout his career to date, and sits at the top of the all-time Adult Contemporary chart with over 50 Top 40 hits including 12 No.1 singles.

His songs include I Write The Songs, Looks Like We Made It, Could It Be Magic, Can’t Smile Without You, and Somewhere In The Night.

He has released over 30 studio albums since his 1973 self-titled debut, most recently unveiling This Is My Town: Songs of New York, celebrating his hometown.

Manilow’s catalogue includes multi-platinum selling albums Tryin’ to Get the Feeling, This One’s for You and Even Now.
