British four-piece Bastille have announced a string of intimate shows around the UK in early 2019.
The dates in Birmingham, Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and London will give fans the opportunity to hear the band’s brand new material ahead of the release of their third album, Doom Days which is due out in late Spring 2019.
Lead singer Dan Smith said: “We’ve spent most of this last year working on loads of new music and touring different versions of our songs so now we’re so excited to head back out and revisit more intimate rooms and play a bunch of new songs in the lead up to our new album.”
Bastille spent the summer playing UK and International festivals with headline slots at Wilderness and MTV’s Ocean City Sounds. In May 2018 the band released Doom Days‘ first single Quarter Past Midnight, followed by their forth UK top 5 single Happier in collaboration with Marshmello in August.
The band, who comprise of frontman and lyricist, Dan Smith, keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood recently completed their critically acclaimed ReOrchestrated tour back in April 2018.
The band’s two previous full-length albums Bad Blood and follow-up Wild World both reached No.1 in the UK, and they’ve also won British Breakthrough Act at the BRITs, as well as Grammy, AMA and MTV Europe Awards nominations.
