John Legend to headline BluesFest 2019

Organisers have confirmed that BluesFest is set to return to the UK’s capital this October.

This year’s event will take place from 25 – 27 October 2019, at The O2 and indigo at The O2, London.

John Legend, Raphael Saadiq and Rickie Lee Jones are the first names announced for this year’s event.

One of the most successful recording artists of the past 20 years, John Legend is the first headliner confirmed for BluesFest 2019.

The 10-time Grammy Award winner will be bringing hits such as Ordinary People, Love Me Now and All of Me to The O2 on Friday 25 October 2019, for what will be his only UK show of the year.

“I’m really happy to be returning to London to perform at The O2 for this year’s BluesFest,” comments Legend. “My shows in London are always extra special and I look forward to seeing everyone in October.”

Also confirmed to be appearing at this year’s BluesFest is neo-soul star Raphael Saadiq. The three-time Grammy Award winner is currently gearing up for the release of his new studio album Jimmy Lee, and will perform at indigo at The O2, London on Saturday 26 October 2019.

Rounding off today’s announcement is the news that Rickie Lee Jones will perform at indigo at The O2, London on Sunday 27 October 2019. The singer released her latest album Kicks in June to widespread critical acclaim.
