London’s biggest blues festival returns this October, and the Zac Brown Band have been added to the line-up. The three-time Grammy Award-winning country group will perform at BluesFest at The O2 on Saturday 27 October with support from Beth Hart.

Having just kicked off their eighth North American headlining tour, Down the Rabbit Hole Live: Zac Brown Band 2018, the band are playing at stadiums, amphitheatres and some of most beloved baseball parks across the US this summer.

Last year the Zac Brown Band released their latest album, Welcome Home, and went on a record-breaking tour in support of it. The heartfelt lead single, My Old Man, received a Grammy nomination (the ninth for the group’s members) and the video accompanying it was recently nominated for a CMT Music Award for Group Video of the Year. Dedicated to all the fathers in the world, you’ll get teary eyes when you watch it.

An Atlanta, Georgia native, Zachary “Zac” Brown put together his first Zac Brown Band iteration in 2002. Their trademark sound features harmony vocals with Brown’s signature tenor, and while their music is largely country, they often mix in elements of rock and other genres.

Since the Zac Brown Band’s major label debut in 2008, the first four albums they released were certified platinum, and over the years they’ve amassed a slew of chart-topping songs – including Toes, Chicken Fried, Highway 20 Ride and Knee Deep.

LA-born singer and songwriter Beth Hart, who rose to fame with her single LA Song, is supporting the Zac Brown Band at BluesFest. Regarded as one of the best voices around, she released her first live album in 13 years, Beth Hart Front and Centre: Live from New York, in April.

The Zac Brown Band and Beth Hart join several other incredible acts that have already been announced including Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant. Plant has previously taken the stage for BluesFest as part of Bill Wyman’s 80th birthday show in 2016 and this time he’ll bring his backing band, The Sensational Shifters, to perform classic Led Zeppelin material as well as tracks off his critically acclaimed solo projects.

Also in the line-up is legendary Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison, who will return to the festival once again to perform a career-spanning set and songs off his latest album, You’re Driving Me Crazy. In addition, John Fogerty is set to perform a Creedence Clearwater Revival set, and the Steve Miller Band will play their first London show in six years.

This stellar line-up promises to make 2018’s BluesFest one of the best yet.
