The newly announced dates include extra shows in Glasgow and London, as well as brand new shows in Sheffield and Norwich.

Tickets for the new gigs will be available from 9:30 on Friday 20 September 2019 through Ticketmaster.co.uk

Bombay Bicycle Club’s winter tour kicks off in Cambridge on 20 January 2020, before heading to Bournemouth, Leicester, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton, Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich and London.

Support for the tour comes from The Big Moon and Liz Lawrence.

The band will release their brand new studio album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong on 17 January 2020.

Everything Else Has Gone Wrong marks the band’s first LP release since their reformation earlier this year and is the follow-up to their 2014 No.1 record So Long, See You Tomorrow.

Bombay Bicycle Club released their debut album I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose in July 2009 and they’ll be celebrating the LP’s tenth anniversary by performing the record in full across five gigs later this year.

The debut was produced by Jim Abbiss (Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Adele) and introduced the London quartet as one of the most exciting and urgent bands of a generation, as well as spawning the singles Evening/Morning, Dust on the Ground, Magnet and the jubilant fan favourite Always Like This.

The indie rockers followed up the LP with Flaws in 2010, A Different Kind of Fix in 2011 and the chart-topping smash So Long, See You Tomorrow in 2014.

After the success of So Long, See You Tomorrow the band announced their indefinite hiatus in 2016 to pursue other projects and take a break from touring.

In January 2019 the band confirmed their return and to fans’ delight announced their intention to record and release new music before the year is out.

Later this year, the quartet head out on their biggest UK headline run for almost four years, playing their debut album I Had the Blue But I Shook Them Loose across the UK throughout November 2019.

The band will then release their new album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong on 17 January 2020 followed by a run of UK dates across January and February 2020.
