Craig David announces 2019 tour dates

The superstar will be playing a handful of outdoor shows next summer.

Craig David has announced a run of huge outdoor gigs, taking place in summer next year.

The new live dates kick off in Cheltenham on 24 May 2019, taking in shows in Powderham, Colchester and Dundee, before finishing up in Peterborough on 8 June 2019.

Support on the dates comes from Sigala, Becky Hill and Nathan Dawe.

Since breaking through in 1999, Southampton born Craig David has become an icon of UK garage, selling over 15 million records worldwide.

His debut album Born to Do It was released in 2000, topping the UK albums chart and catapulting the singer to global fame. The album, which was also gone platinum in the US spawned four singles, including the massive hits Fill Me In and 7 Days.

Since the release of Born to Do It, Craig has released six more albums, all of which have landed within the top 20 on the official UK chart. His last record The Time Is Now dropped in January 2018 and features guest appearances from JP Cooper, Bastille, AJ Tracey, Yxng Bane and Kaytranada. The record debuted at No.2 on the Official UK Albums Chart.

With a plethora of hit singles under his belt including Walking Away, Rise & Fall, What’s Your Flava and the smash Artful Dodger collaboration Re-Rewind, (The Crowd Say Bo Selecta), Craig David’s live shows are renowned for their high energy and propensity for mass singalongs.
