Danny Jones has confirmed he’ll be heading out on his first ever solo headline tour.

The newly announced run of dates kicks off on 31 August 2019, and will see him tour across the UK until 6 September 2019.

Ahead of the dates, Danny stopped by Ticketmaster HQ, to perform a special stripped back version of his single Bad Habits. Watch the performance above.

Danny Jones first came to widespread public attention as guitarist and vocalist of the multi-platinum pop group McFly. Forming in 2003, McFly have grown into one of the most successful pop acts of a generation, with seven No.1 singles to their name as well as combined record sales of over 10 million units.

Some of the band’s biggest hits include All About You, 5 Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, Star Girl, One for the Radio and I’ll Be OK.

After McFly announced their hiatus in 2016, Jones began working on new music in his home studio. Originally wanting to write songs for other artists to perform, the personal nature of the music he was making led the singer to decide to record and release the tracks under his own name.

The singer-songwriter released his debut solo single Is This Sill Love last year.

Alongside his performing career, Danny is also a coach on the ITV talent show The Voice Kids, and recently played a part in the Soccer Aid charity match, raising money for Unicef at Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge on Sunday 16 June 2019.
