David Orobosa Omoregie, better known as Dave, is set to take to Reading & Leeds Festival and Parklife Festival following his all-but sold out UK tour, marking quite the year for the UK rapper. Not only does his recently released debut album, PSYCHODRAMA, have awards written all over it, but everything he touches seems to turn to gold. Fans around the world are rightfully saluting his brilliance.

From his breakout Wanna Know, complete with a remix by his highness himself Drake, to Dave’s recent UK No.1 collaboration with another giant Fredo on Funky Friday, he’s continuing a huge trend for home-grown talent in the gnre.

With Dave’s UK dates set to tick off in April 2019, and an appearance at various festivals on the horizon, here are five tracks that could make an appearance at his live shows.

Wanna Know

This mellow track offers an insight into Dave’s eloquent style of rapping, that has kept him apart from other rappers. Drake’s involvement on the track just serves to compliment this already massive hit.

Black

Despite its controversy, Dave has achieved exactly what he set out to do with this thought-provoking track about being black in the UK.

Funky Friday

This absolute club banger shot straight to No.1 on the UK singles chart, which isn’t something that happens very often in the grime scene. It has proved monumnetal for anyone who has supported the rapid growth of the genre. And for those joining now… welcome to the future.

Peligro

Dave is arguably the only contemporary Giggs would call forward for this extraordinary underrated track. Taken from Giggs’ Wamp 2 Dem EP, the track sees both artist flex their undeniable talent, bar for bar.
