The new Dropkick Murphy dates for 2019 follow a string of successful European shows and festival appearances throughout 2018.

The tour kicks off in Birmingham in April next year, before visiting venues in Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. The tour concludes with a huge show at London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton.

Dropkick Murphys are one of the biggest American Celtic punk bands in the world, expect to hear their classic songs and massive hits, such as Shipping Up To Boston, The State of Massachusetts, Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya and Rose Tattoo.

Since forming in 1996, Dropkick Murphys have gone on to become ambassadors for their city of Boston, playing sold out concerts at most of the city’s landmarks, including Fenway Park, TD Garden, the Boston Pops, and even the last voyage of the USS Constitution. They updated the Boston Red Sox anthem Tessie in 2004, which may or may not have had something to do with the team’s first World Series win in 86 years…

The band released their emotionally charged ninth studio album, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory, to strong reviews in January 2017. Take a listen to their track Until the Next Time, which features on the record below:
