First names announced for Edinburgh Summer Sessions

Tom Jones, Rag'N'Bone Man, Paloma Faith and Kasabian will play the new festival.

Tom Jones, Rag’N’Bone Man, Paloma Faith and Kasabian are the first names to be revealed for the newly announced Edinburgh Summer Sessions, taking place on separate days at Prince Street Gardens in the Scottish capital.

The standalone shows will see each headliner joined by a host of very special guests.

The sister festival to Glasgow’s Summer Sessions will be opened by Tom Jones on the 6 August 2018, who returns to the city following a performance at Edinburgh Castle four years ago.

Rag’N’Bone Man follows his Hogmanay performance with a show at Edinburgh’s Ross Bandstand on Tuesday 14 August 2018.

Confirmed last week, Paloma Faith will headline on the 17 August 2018, with British rock veterans Kasabian taking to the city on the 18 August 2018.

6 August 2018 – Tom Jones + special guests
14 August 2018 – Rag’N’Bone Man + special guests
17 August 2018 – Paloma Faith + special guests
18 August 2018 – Kasabian + special guests

Tickets for these four Edinburgh Summer Sessions shows go on sale at 9:00 on Friday 23 February 2018 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
